    Elfriede Otto lives and works in Berlin and Dortmund

1992   Scholarship of the “Aldegrever Society for Graphic Arts”
1993   Foreign scholarship of the “Aldegrever Society for Graphic Arts”, Lofoten Islands, Norway    

Exhibition of five annual gifts of the “Aldegrever Society for Graphic Arts” in the Museum of Arts and Culture, Münster/German

Working on an international graphic file entitled “Geo-Graphic” with noted artists from USA, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Austria, Poland, Slovenia and Hungary 

1994   Participation and exhibition at the Biennial Festival Maastricht/ Netherlands, Künstlerhaus Salzburg/Austria, Art Multiple Düsseldorf/Germany (joint exhibition) 
1997   Participation and exhibition at the International Triennial Festival for Original Graphic Arts, Grenchen/Switzerland 
1998 – 2002   Educational stays in South Africa, Elaboration of the “Africa Graphical Files” 
2001 und 2002   Further studies with Professor Hermann Nitsch
2003 – 2004   Schwarzsche Villa, Berlin (Germany), Joint Exhibition
2004   In the framework of the German-French Festival of Culture the exhibition „The Four Elements“ is staged in Isfahan (Iran) via the German and French embassy in Teheran. As representatives of contemporary prints in the south of France and Berlin 30 artists were invited to display their work at the museum of Isfahan.
